Been going to this hospital for years decent prices and good service Might have a problem with the emergency room as sometimes doctors are not available and that happened with me. The near by restaurant is destroyed the hospital by the smell though

This hospital is one of the best in Muscat. I have done a surgery to my knee with one of the best doctors in Oman “Dr. Suwiliem” that is available in Al Hayat hospital. They took good care of me during my stay and staff were well trained and taking all aspects professionally. مستشفى بمعايير ممتازه واجريت عمليه للركبه في هذا المستشفى وكان تعاملهم بغايه من الاتقان.

My mom had sudden acute hypertension, when she's fit and well. They didn't do anything, not chest x-ray, no blood or urine test, not even an ECG, let alone consider head CT or other tests. Basically they didn't rule out any of the major life threatening causes that cause a sudden hypertensive emergency, when she was even symptomatic. As an emergency dr/department, this is completely unacceptable. I'm a doctor myself who's worked in emergency departments before and here...not even basic profiling was done. You can't just say oh you're fine based on whim, when you've checked nothing.
