  I hired a Mitsubishi Lancer from Dollar Rent a Car. Before going to Oman, I was very scared about renting a car in Oman, because I could see, that all the rental companies have gotten so horrible reviews on Google Maps. I thought about renting from Dollar because of the price, and when a guy on Reddit told me that he had good experience with this company they became my company of choice. Hiring a car in the store is 10-20% more expensive than ordering it on the website. As a result, I booked the car online while I sat in their office. I need to wait two hours, but the staff recommend me a good place to eat and some spots to check out around the office. Checking for damages before and after the ride was made using a smartphone app. He showed me all the dents and asked if the app needed any other. Very professional. Many people have written, that they were charged a big amount of money after the rental. This may be because, that they did not vacuum cleaned the car before delivery. In the contract it states, that you will pay around 70 USD, if the car has not been vacuum cleaned. Next to the local Mc Donald's at the beach, there is a company which charges 2-3 USD for this service. But you can find similar services many other places. The guys at Dollar Rent a Car really saved my ass. Due to bad time scheduling I ran late and missed the bus to Dubai. On the phone they helped me to contact the bus company and helped me hire a taxi, so I could catch the bus and therefore catch my flight. I am to grateful for the help!

  Absolutely terrible car hire place. Don't hire from them. Not a care in the world about customer service Booked a Hyundai Tuscan model. Their website shows this as brand new. When came to pick up the car, of course they don't have it. They only hav a Dacia or a Mitsubishi. We had to drive to the green mountain so wanted a good car. The car they gave us 1. Had a 140k mileage 2. Smelled horrible, sweat, dirt sand evrythg 3. Had the engine light on for a fault all the time 4. Had mechanical issue where driving on the green mountain meant no power, burnt out gearbox as continuous burning smell .. I must have rang the company about five times asking for a change, was sent on a wild goose chase to their different offices back to airport, promises from one person and denials from another Gave the car bac vowing never to hire from them... To add insult to injury I got an extra cost from them about a fine and upon tryin to enquire what fine was about, no feedback. Don't hire from them. They need to understand what customer service means and not give out terrible products and services . They don't even deserve one star

  Location et rendue de la voiture sans problème jusqu'à un prélèvement plus d'un mois après sans aucune information. Pratique malhonnête et non professionnelle avec ENORMEMENT de difficultés à joindre les intéressés. Rental and check out of the car were Ok. But then one month later we had a debit with no explanation ? No communication from dollar and a lot of difficulties to join them. I really not recommend this compagny for such unprofessionnals practices.

  Pour récupérer le véhicule, armé vous de PATIENCE, j'avais réservé un Pajero V6 3.2 (ou similaire) car nous allions en montagne et dessert je voulais de la puissance. Au moment de récupérer la clé je voie une clé Toyota je pose la question (C'est pas un Pajero) "Non on n'en n'a plus je vous ai surclassé celui la est mieux" Super, nous prenons la voiture qui roule bien et arrivée dans le montagne la montre côte plus de puissance arrivée a l'hôtel je lève le capot... Surprise un 4 cylindre! J'ai donc jouer avec la boite auto toute la semaine pour tirer profit du moteur et pouvoir passer à des vitesses convenable. Le seul point possitif est qu'il sont "Tellement bien" organiser qu'il ne contrôle pas les KMs dépassé. Mais si vous voulez vous faire plaisir avec un beau 4x4 (Comme je voulais le faire) allez chez Europcar. Les beau 4x4 de loc avait tous l'autocollant Europcar. Surtout privilégier un 4x4 sur place car les chemins et piste sont un vrai régale pour les amateurs de conduite.

  This is by far the worst rent-a-car provider in Oman! I rented a car with them for 4 weeks, returned the car in good condition and then they charged me an extra fee 2 months later on my credit card! Beware of these crooks. I am sad about this very negative experience as I enjoyed Oman and its people very much.
