  We used the banquet hall for the 1st day of our wedding, which was amazing this space was Hugh enough for 300+ guests. The reason for 3 stars is the room we stayed in was pretty dated, the decoration was straight from the 80s, Grand Hyatt would do great to update some of their rooms and bring them into 2018.

  An amazing hotel, I would recommend it one hundred percent. Lovely rooms, great staff, big pool with a bar, a gym, and restaurants. It's also right next to the beach and very close to the Opera House. We went for our wedding anniversary and they made a big deal out of it, which was nice. If you're in Muscat, get yourself here.

  The Grand Hyatt in Muscat remains a favourite. The opulent Ottoman style is very much unique. It is a feature rich hotel with beach, pools, health club, various restaurants and bars, large meeting rooms, a separate building with sports bar and night club and rooftop restaurant, shops, etcetera. A good service also is the Hyatt approved taxis which are the only taxis allowed to take customers and live up to some basic safety and commercial standards. Plenty always available as well - a ride to the airport is 10 Rials precisely. This time I was pleased to be granted access to the Executive Lounge which was outstanding with great drinks and nibbles and pleasant service.

  Wow! What a pity. The decorations are about the only magnificent aspect. Rooms are dated. Staff surly at best. The prices are oman high so budget well. It’s a disappointment from check in right till you leave. There were short comings to numerous to mention with barely a standard response from emailing customer service department. That being said, the establishment is beautiful and the building well taken care of. It’s a pity everything else falls off the railings. Not the Hyatt experience very disappointing

  Stunning hotel. Friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Access to beach and lawns and walking paths behind hotel. Nice fitness center with sauna and steam room. Pool with lazy river. Best hotel in Muscat!
