  Founded in July 1990 by Dr. P Mohamed Ali primarily for the children of the Indian expatriates in the Sultanate of Oman, Indian School Al Ghubra, located in the capital city of Muscat has over 3250 students. It is a private, independent, co-educational school, having classes from the Kindergarten to the Senior Secondary affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. There are 200 plus faculty members, 13 administrative expatriates and 31 Omani administrative staff. The School is associated with The Association of International Schools in India, Global Connections, MUN and a member of Round Square since 1996. The streams offered in classes 11 and 12 are Science and Commerce. The subjects include: Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Computer Science/Economics/Engineering Graphics, Mathematics/Informatics Practices(IP)/Multimedia and Web Technology (MMWT), Accountancy, Business Studies, Computer Science/Economics, Mathematics/Informatics Practices(IP)/Multimedia and Web Technology(MMWT). Languages such as Malayalam, French, Arabic, Sanskrit and Hindi are offered as Second and Third Languages from grade 6 to 10. The school has adopted innovative methods of teaching-learning using the state of-the-art facilities. Smart -Classrooms, audio-visual room, well-equipped laboratories with 3 D printer facilitate the students with Interactive learning. Students get ample opportunities to develop their skills and talents in sports, Art, Music and Hobby Clubs.   It is a very nice school. And the discipline of the school is better compared to any other schools have good teachers and they try to make learning fun.

  Worst school among indian schools. More fees and low quality of education.concentrate more on useless programes.

  I studied here from KG to 7th grade. For the amount of cash they take for fees, they have made full use of it with as much exposure as possible. It should be noted that each class tends to typically have 40 plus students and only like 2 teachers. Because of this, there is always one group of people who may be ignored a bit OVERALL AWESOME THO
