  We got a free transit hotel in golden tulip from oman air.. the hotel itself isn't far from the airport and in the middle of nowhere. The interior is worn out including the furnitures but the aircon is cold enough in the harsh hot weather in muscat. Fortunately, oman air provide us dinner and breakfast for our transit. Surprisingly dinner was splurge, lots of variety and taste alright! Breaksfast also good with english/american style.

  Against most of the reviews, the hotel is reasonably well, rooms are old but clean and equipped with all modern amenities. Breakfast-a buffet was good with almost all the required dishes.

  Golden Tulip is located close to Muscat International airport. Its good for business trips and short stay. They have restaurant and bar facility. Food needs to be improved at restaurant. They have gift shop as well as rent a car facility available in the hotel.

  İt is old four star. i do not understand why they do not download any renovation. Since location iş great. Breakfast iş averAge almost 3 Star hotel level. They should improve theirself. Renovation is first step.

  Very close to Muscat airport. Hotel offers a free shuttle service on the hour. The hotel itself is looking a little tired and in need of some renovation. Breakfast has a good selection and they will cook eggs to order. There is a bar on the 4th floor with inside and outside seating. Staff are helpful and rooms are clean.
