::This is a very welcoming place, with open and impressive grounds to explore. Seeing the prayer halls with their grand chandeliers and carpets show the live and effort put into the place. The guards are helpful too and appreciate the respect shown by visitors who perhaps are not Muslims. I would recommend anyone visiting Muscat comes to see this beautiful location.

::Fantastic architecture and great exterior space. The buildings have a distinctive style with remarkable design and construction quality and the different exterior walkways allow the visitor to admire and appreciate the scale of the constructions. The materials used are top quality as well as the design details that refer to Islamic and Arabic architecture with actual quality standard. When in Muscat, this is a place anyone should visit.

::This is not just a mosque or a religious place, this is a sign that Oman is a symbol for religious and ethnic tolerance that many countries in the world should follow. Non Muslims are allowed to see the mosque and hear about Islam. I read in some of the reviews that they have to pay to get in. I wish it's not true. Or at least lower the entrance fees to a very small amount like 1$ or so. The mosque contains the largest carpet in the world (Made in Iran). You need sunglasses if you are to walk during the summer.

::A must visit in Oman. Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque is a very beautiful mosque, located in Muscat. It has a lot of domes and minarets and has been built using Indian sandstone. The chandeliers in the prayer hall, has been made in Italy. The mosque is surrounded by beautiful, landscaped gardens and manicured lawns. The peace and tranquility that resides within and the calm, serene atmosphere is a balm to the soul.
