  Highly misinformed staff . Arrived at the hotel at 2:30 pm and couldn't find any security or door man to assist us with parking or luggage. We parked outside the hotel and carried our luggage inside . The front desk staff were friendly but total misinformed. During reservation my room was upgraded with business lounge but at the front desk they informed us their staff made a mistake and I have to pay extra $130 for two nights . Later after checking with manager they gave me the upgrade but during my stay I found that business lounge was not even open during over stay . Felt cheated. Rooms were clean with all modern facilities but bathroom door wouldn't lock and t.v. remote was not working. Breakfast and dinner was great. Overall experience was just ok . Didn't get the value for the money .

  I visited to attend an event. Great hotel but with parking issue. Not sure if there are more parking but if there is then they should put signs

  Great room! Pool area nice and quiet but no access to spa facilities (sauna and steam room) from the pool so can't move from one to the other easily. Stayed in the Sheraton (other 5* hotel in Muscat) for the first two days of the holiday and although the room and the Hormuz was slightlu better (bigger and nice design) the Sheraton trumped everything else.

  Beautiful hotel and facilities. Professional friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. And nice spacious rooms. Great breakfast. The coffee was not so great. Definitely would stay here again.

  Close to the airport. Welcoming staff. Large, well equipped rooms. Spotlessly clean. Shady pool. Perfect for our first night in Oman before heading off around the country.
